Heather and I went out for dinner last night.. her in the TBSS and me in the Typhoon...

We left and ended up paired up at a light.. I took the left lane and she took the right. I

brought the RPM's up a little but didn't build any boost... Light turns green and boost

come on quick.. I see TBSS headlights zip to the back of the Typhoon and 2nd gear

comes on.... keeps pulling truck's away from her... 3'd gear "Slides" in.... still pulling

away at a steady pace... ok... on to the ramp to head home...... Pull in neighborhood and

into driveway... kinda acts a littte funny pulling into garage. humm... weird. I get out of the

truck laughing and telling her she got spanked Bwhahahhaa.. I continue to prod her all

evening about loosing. That's fun. Hop in the Typhoon all smug today and had to really

apply the gas to back out of the driveway. Rut Ro.... 1-2 is ok.. but 3'd or 4th is GONE. I'll

be ordering the 4L60E Monday and making this Harness I have here and ECM out of a 99

truck ready to install.

All you need to convert your 700R to 4L60E is the transmission... your old converter will work

and a controller (stock 98up ecm/weeded harness) or a PCS controller (950.00)

Rack up #2 700R for me ;)

I bet the TBSS is fine no she can have the last laugh!

Thanks guys... I had a 99 Blazer 4x4 come in here last year from the impound yard that I saved the entire wire harness,ECM,engine/trans ect from.

I spent a few hours this morning weeding out the wire harness. Not much left to make it plug and play.

Free is good .. I'll spend a few hrs and use HPTuners on it for WOT shift RPM's.

Mount it under the back seat and down to the trans from under the carpet area.

Be done in a couple weeks and then finish up the A/C and it'll be all ready for next year

Or the next part to break Lol.
