T-case th400 input?

So I melted my 700r4 in the blazer, and I'm seriously concidering a th400. The only thing is is that the only place that makes an adapter is adavanced adapters. I talked to rossler about it and he mentioned that there was a couple syty guys that had been coming in mentioning that they had a different transfercase 'reciver' that fit the stock th400 output shaft, does anyone know anything about this?

Everything quoted here is for 4L80e. My understanding is that they are interchangeable.

interesting, I take it its going to be forever until one is availible though...

I'm a bit sad, I see the TH400 outputs are 32 spline and the the inputs on the 4472 are...32 spline, to bad they arn't just the same diameter...
