Not sure if this has been asked here yet but I have a 97 WS6 6sp and was wondering if anyone has ever tackled or thought about dropping a syty motor in an fbody engine bay?

not worth ur trouble put an ls1 in it and be much happier our motors cost alot to build up

I have seen a 3.8 turbo in a 4th gen fbody. Would probably be easy since you could get them with a 3.8 from the factory.

yeah, iv seen the TTA motors in there. there pretty strong too but I know the 4.3 motors are beast too.

Is your WS6 AWD already?

If you're referencing the AWD in the Sy/Ty platform..........
Yes you can fit an LS1 and the AWD driveline into the chassis. No, it's not a bolt in affair.

if you can fit a v8 in what your swapping to, do it that way. not trying to pull away money from our used parts area, but seriously, the 4.3 has some issues and the ls platform has really not much to gripe about. you can do whatever you want and we will welcome it but your better off turbo v8 or n/a for that matter. just my :2cents:
