shift points....

What are everybodies shift points?

I was doing a couple of datamaster runs and I noticed my max rpms before shift seemed to be a little low. The runs were done with the shifter in D - drive.

I am used to non-turbo cars so maybe that is why?

Just wondering what everybody else is shifting at so I can compare.

Thanks,

Ken

At WOT, mine are in the range of 4600 RPM. It sounds like it's pretty well in line with what others are doing. Is there a way to raise the shift points closer to the red line?

Thanks,
Galen

The rev limiter on a stock chip is the yellow line, you are very close to that already.

If you have a stock motor and turbo you want it to shift around 4500-4600 max or it will go slower because it will be out of the powerband. With the PTE52 and headers mine does best at 4800 or so.
