AJ, I just bought a TV cable from here after thinking the cable was the prob on my truck:

It is a bit longer than the OEM stocker, but I put it in my truck 2 weeks ago and it seems to work as it should, even with the extra length. The only thing different is that it doesnt have the stock push style button to adjust the cable. The ratchet is much much longer than our stock ones as well, so there is a ton of room for correct adjustment.
Also, I cut off the adjustment end piece thingy on the end of the cable (the gold piece where the cable clicks into the TB).
My trans is currently fubar, but from what I can tell, it does shift through the gears without issue and seems to be a good aftermarket replacment for a really good price. I believe dealer cost is around $150-175?
