need a fast answer about tranny!

Making the 900 mile roadtrip now and the convertot doesn't lock. Is it gonna hurt the tranny to run it that far unlocked revving 3000rpm in od?

Is prolly ****ed.You can manually lock the converter by jumping top left top right pins on the ALDL.

Guess I should of specified it has a 3800 stall

It will create alot of heat if it is un locked I would manually lock if up like Jimmy said just use a paper clip temporarely

It has a toggle switch on dash but isn't locking when I hit it. You mean the pins in data port under dash?

yes, jump the top left and the top right on the aldl port

The truck has a small block and sounds like a turbo 400 or high gearing (prob not a 400 if he mention OD)if its doing 3000 rpm at highway speeds. The aldl trick may not work for him.
