IC air bleeder valve

Where the hell did I see this? Someone used a brass spigot/shut off on top of ATR/Hayden cooler to assist in refilling. Also, anyone have any pics/know how to mount this cooler with a trans cooler up front also, or does the trans cooler have to go under the bed?
Thanks,
Jeremy

I drilled a hole on top of one of the ends, tapped it, and put in a pipe plug on one cooler. Just remove the plug to help burp it.

Transmission cooler should probably be mounted underneath. I've done it both ways. If mounted in front of the ATR, radiator temps tend to climb in warm weather.

Actually I found an ice maker tap spigot type thingy at the hardware store. It's got an upper and lower clamp to bolt around a pipe(or top ATR IC tube) and a small gasket that you pierce along with the tube by turning the t-handle attached to a needle valve threaded into the top clamp. Totally self contained, no tap or die required. All told it ran me like $5. Since my trans cooler is mounted outboard of the front rad. support/frame it looks like I'll be able to squeeze the ATR behind it with minimal overlap. With my 180F thermo my truck runs like 150F anyway.
On a side note, you've had some great ideas and answers for me in the past few days. Appreciate that.Holler if you need anything.
