Does anyone make a decent CV shaft?

Long story short i have 4 cv axles sitting here (3 brand new cardone selects 1-whatever came on it looks like advance or autozone) all of them are leaking, some worse than others. from the inner metal caps that faces the drive axles and cant be seen when installed.
I realize that probably only a couple places manufacturer these and then put in different boxes, but i refuse to put something on my truck that leaks before ive even driven it. It also probably doesnt help that the vehicle never moves to help cause the leaks, but still if it leaks now it will only be worse in a yr or two..
Junk, everything is junk now and im tired of it, anyone have any helpful suggestions? what do bully and the bigger hp guys use? I might try napa but im willing to bet they are cardone just re-boxed..

Go to rockauto.com and get some Moog boots and install them yourself, not hard. I just did this with my Durango.

John had his original GM ones rebuilt

re read what i wrote, has nothing to do with the boots and the 3 cardone's are from rockauto

yes i had thought of this, when i tore the truck apart one was still a gm original but i tossed it, didnt think it would be this hard to find a half decent replacement or i would of kept it.

You can still do a NOS stock check at any dealer and try to haggle with them on price. I got the down from $500+ and axle to about $300 ...when I made some calls.

I have a OEM one with a torn boot on the outboard side.

could you ask him if cvj axles did them or someone else id appreciate it.

There has been at least 3 discussions about this over the last couple months, all have turned up with use what you have.

I thought about smearing some rtv on the cap seam, but still dont think it would work and i shouldnt have to "bandaid" a brand new part.. I have also tried to use a punch and go around and seal the cap better to the housing but dont think that worked either.
I have a truck with no engine, trans, or front diff in it and it is leaving a oil spot on the ground, using what i have is not an option to me at this point..

The ones I got from AM Auto haven't leaked or shown signs of leaking in 2 years.
