coolant Fuild levels ?

just bought a 92 ty, has no owners manual, is ther a proper order to fill cooling system, also does anyone have owners manual in PDF format to download ? also how do you tell what # ty i have ? thanks

Check VIN# behind the windshield, last 4 digits are the production #.

the last 4 numbers DO NOT corelate to the production nember for ty's..this only works with sy's...you will want to fil the IC and engine radiator system with the truck cold....this way it wont spit fluid back at you....you will want to fill the coolant resivoir on the fender once the engine is warmed up....fill the IC all the way to the top..both systems are supposed to pul from the resivoir but the IC system usually doesnt and needs to be checked at least once a week.

matter of fact the intercooler was low, thats exactlly what i needed to know, things i need to keep and eye on, its going to be my daily driver, its a big change from my audi a-4 quattro!! lol thanks again

For what it's worth,I decided to separate the IC and radiator overflow reservoir and rerouted each to its own smaller reservoir.It looks good...I used clear plastic hosing so you can see the flow of coolant when engine is running...
