Compatable Front Differentials?

My front differential is fried. Which ones are compatable that I can replace it with? Will one out of a 91 Jimmy or S15 work or do I need to look for something specific?

Also, is this a part that I can pull quickly out of a Pick-n-Pull or does it take a long time or a lot of tools to remove from the vehicle?

Nevermind. I did some searching and I found that I need a 3.42 ratio front differential and I can check the differential code in the glove box looking for GU 6.
