When he changed back, he changed the map sensor back to the 2bar. When he had the three bar hooked up, there may have been a vaccum line not on good.

Ok, that explains vacuum, but what about the the fuel issues people were talking about. Actually that's what I was really curious about.

BTW, nice take on determing if you have a 2bar or 3bar.

I am really starting to wonder if he got a baro sensor istead of a 3 bar sensor. because if I remember correctly the baro sensor made the boost gauge go deep into the boost. That means its telling the ecm that its under boost all the time and could cause it to run real rich.

quite posible, check datamaster or the gauge on the dash, should tell you easily if your truck is seeing full boost at idle.. Im sure it would run like shit, depending on the baro sensor's voltage output, it might even set overboost, although i cant say for sure.

Grap someone esle's 3 bar.

ok problem solved! with the help of a few ty owners! thanks guys! apparently the ultimate chip wasnt seated properly.

haha all this bullshit aggravation cause of that!?!?! but after reinstalling the ultimate and the 3bar, everything seems to be fine, except now when i give it WOT, itll start to accelerate, then the truck just stops, as if its starved for fuel... im gonna rehook up my electric fuel psi gauge, and do a datamaster run and see what the hell is happenin... hopefully something simple... haha who am i kidding?

thanks for all the help and suggestions guys!

off topic...
why is it that when i use a different computer i cant log in under my other name?
