A/C delete

Does anyone know how much weight I stand to lose if I remove the A/C system?

You stand to gain more room more so than weight. If you don't remove your fire wall box and replace it w/ a non a/c box, don't even bother removing the rest of it. It is relatively cheap to remove your a/c. I removed all my a/c components, replaced the firewall box, got the non a/c heater core, and even put the non a/c switch on my dash. I kept all my old parts so if I can put it back on someday.

... That number will go up more after I ditch that tensioner pulley monstrosity on the passenger side of the truck after I go to electric fans just like we did on my buds truck:

The weights of the AC stuff can be seen in my posts here.
