6 lug conversion?

EDIT: Looking for this wheel or similar in 5 lug 17 or 18"

its GM's spare tire for the new gen trucks, there was one sitting around the shop i work at and i liked how it looked.

Is there a kit, or can i swap out C/K, silverado (SS) hubs in instead of the 5 lug Syclone hubs?

simple answer yes anything is possible, I sure you can find a aftermarket wheel close to those in our lug patten

people in the 4x4 community have tried

A '91 thru '95 US-built 2wd Isuzu pickup has the same GM 7-5/8" rear as an S-10 and is already a 6-bolt, drum brakes. It's 4" wider than a Luv and the spring mounts will need moved. It will have 4.10 gears. You can make the front match with wheel spacers or use wheels with less backspacing on the rear to matck the stock front. 2wd, 4-cyl Amigos & Rodeos had the same GM 7-5/8" 6-bolt (4x4's & V6's had Dana-44's). Look at the VIN, if the first three letters are "JAA" it's Japan-built & has a corporate Isuzu rear.


is one comment i found still would be cheaper and easier to buy wheels

This is a very popular mod in the older body style full size 2wd pickups and Tahoe's/ Yukon's 92-99, but I have never seen it done to a S-10.
