Is it possible to drive a NP205 with which i can Shift between 2wd and 4wd?

The 205 is a part time, gear to gear transfer case designed to operate in 2wd or 4wd. If you're wanting to shift while moving into 4wd all of the front drive components must be moving at the same speed as the rear.

you better get one side axle with a cable, for the front dif, Waller made a Thread about it. should be in the vault?

if you want to do this I have a transfer case that will allow you to shift into or out of awd while moving. It has larger th400 splines front and rear. electrically activated.

This shaft is what Waller used. I have not installed yet. Out of a 1990's 4wd Jimmy.

is this a stock transfercase converted?

There is a thread about this from probably 4-5 years ago. Somebody else had done this and referred me to the guy.
