FWIW... www.gmpartsdirect.com #24210960 $129.64. Of course add on their $25 for shipping, but you save a few $$ anyway.

Just to understand this... for the GM #24210960 you get the entire sprag lineup which consists of:
Overrun clutch hub/Outer race/BW element/inner race/sun gear

A Borg Warner element. Odd huh? I buy the Borg Warner element usually about $38 and then put the BW element into sprag assembly. Raybestos swears the skf will be fine IF used in the new assembly ONLY. Like I said before, if the BW worked in the old sloppy units, it will be even better in the new ones :wink:
I usually just go straight to the dealership and get the parts. The parts manager is a nice guy(I went to school with him). He'll give me decent prices(usually a little below retail if I get more than one),and I don't pay shipping and know I'm getting the right part. We open it up, if it's the wrong part or its damaged, back in the box it goes and they get me another one.
Look for the little asterisk "*". If you see one next to a part, good luck getting GMPartsDirect to do anything with it.
With the dealer there's no addtional shipping just another days wait. If I get the order in before noon, they can have it by 10AM the next day.
Check with your GM parts dealer. GM Partsdirect is nice but they don't give pictures, you can't talk to them on the phone for a description of the part, if you get the wrong part you have to "work it out with them", if it's damaged they'll tell you to take it up with the delivery people. There is a bit more risk than going to the parts manager at the dealership. Just be nice. That's the main thing. If you are an amiable person to deal with, they will deal with you.

Ok you gotta buy the BW element seperate.... cool.

I know what you mean about the customer service thing. Its hard to come by these days, especially things bought online. Its probably worth paying the few bucks extra to make sure your getting what you need.

Speaking of BW, would you recommend getting a rebuild kit with all BW frictions?
