SYCOSIS
I was at a car show @ Fuddruckers in Turnersville friday night with my Sy. I have a display board to give a history, mods and of course a timeslip. Across the lot was a lighting and a newer cobra. The owners finally wander over to my truck. I was sitting in a chair enjoying a brew when the truck owner says "these don't run elevens" I said no they don't from the factory but mine does. Doesn't say anything walks away. Later, he and the cobra guy come back and are talking , shaking there heads etc when a photographer from Atco raceway starts telling me about Tom Ferricks Ty that runs 9's and the four of us get into a conversation. Anyway, to make a long story somewhat shorter I challenged the lighting after the show. We finally grab a light on Rt.168 with the cobra behind me. I build only like 3-4 lbs of boost and as soon as the light changes I grabbed a lead that was unbelivable and he never even started to pull on me and I shut it down @ about 95-100 mph. We pull into a lot and he's just shaking his head saying "I didn't know these things were that quick". Then I leave and get on the atlantic expressway with the cobra in front of me. We're doing about 60 and then traffic clears and he gets on it and has a 2 -2 1/2 car lenghts on mew to start, well, by 80 I am beside him and I sorted of back off the throttle look over and then floor it and pulled away like you would not believe. Speedometer went all the way to 120 and I had him by at least 5-6 lenghts. I've never ran my truck like that before but I gotta say I was very impressed.
